I'm suddenly finding myself on a bit of a downward spiral. Nothing too extreme of course, but I've gone three days without exercise and have been eating a bit too much in the way of junk food. I'm still getting positive points but it's a bad trend. Tomorrow I'm going to go back to the kickboxing class from last week so with luck that will get me back on track, but there's no guarantees.
One part of the problem I've noticed in the last couple days has been a lack of sleep. Haven't gotten enough, and that's been leaving me feeling kind of blah all day (I know it's not a very descriptive term, but still that's the best description I can come up with). That kind of feeling has also left me looking for pick-me-ups, and sadly that means junk food on a lot of occasions. So far I've avoided deciding to say heck with the diet and going to pig out someplace, but I came very close tonight. Barely talked myself out of fried chicken or hamburgers.
Food today was still not great: egg and cheese sandwich for breakfast (300 calories), turkey sandwich for lunch (500 calories) and dinner was lasagna and garlic toast (1000 calories). Snacks are where the problems come in, I had a one or two mini-Butterfingers, a granola bar and some cookies (total was probably around 350 calories). No exercise.
