It's my least favorite time at the gym once again. The always irritating first couple weeks after new year's when everyone and their grandmother gets to the gym. Wouldn't be a problem normally, the more the merrier, but it means competition for the machines I like and that just won't do! I lucked out today and one of the ones I like was open, but there's never really a guarantee of that. On the plus side, this will all be over in the next couple weeks, if the past is any guide. On the plus side, I upped the speed and time a little bit today (went 50 minutes, half at 4.5 and half at 4.8). After doing so well over the weekend I decided it might be time to push a bit.
Food today: egg and cheese for breakfast (300 calories), PB&J for lunch (600 calories), a granola bar for snack (100 calories), and penne, sauce and garlic toast for dinner (1000 calories). Exercise was the lunchtime walk (100 calories) and the 50 minutes on the treadmill (757 calories).
