Day 85

So I think my diet may be getting a tad too predictable.  My sister was able to guess what I'd defrosted for dinner without any hint from me.  It's possibly a sign that I need to identify a few other choices of food.

The other big event of the day was my first kickboxing class.  I'm probably going to go again, but boy does running 3 or 4 times per week not prepare you for punching and kicking for an hour.  I haven't been this exhausted after exercising in a very long time, possibly ever.  The class was a lot of fun, even if I felt insanely awkward and slow.  If I'm going to keep it up though I think I'll need to work in some more weight training.  My noodle arms aren't going to be able to handle it.

Food today:  egg and cheese sandwich (300 calories), PB&J (600 calories), snacks included a granola bar and a piece of toast with peanut butter before the class (250 calories total), dinner was a smaller piece of salmon with noodles and green beans (900 calories).  Exercise for the day was a lunchtime walk (100 calories) and the kickboxing class (I'm going to call it 500 calories, could be more though).
