Day 122

Today was the first day of Team Challenge training.  I'm running a half-marathon to support the Crohn;s and Colitis Foundation of America (http://www.active.com/donate/virginia12newengland/VASDwyer), and today was the first day of training towards that goal.  I did pretty well for the first day.  Last year I distinctly remember running with people for about 10-15 minutes before completely dying.  Then I pretty much walked the rest of the way.  This year I stayed with the runners for 30 minutes, and completed 2.7 miles.

That's today's course on the Minuteman Bike Path in Lexington.  All in all a great start to the season.

Food today:  a piece of toast with peanut butter for breakfast (300 calories), no lunch but I did have some popcorn, tater tots and peanut butter at various points of the day as snacks (550 calories), dinner ended up being penne and sauce (800 calories) and then after dinner I had a sourdough roll (200 calories).  Exercise was the run listed above (400 calories).
