I'm 39 days into the challenge, and so far I haven't broken the diet yet. I normally fall off the diet within two weeks, maybe a month if I'm really committed to the process. So far I've also only had two days that I'd actually classify as "bad" days and that was the two Thanksgivings. Primarily I credit the blog, the need to post something every day just serves as a reminder. So I want to thank everyone who's read this. I literally would not have been able to do this without out all of you (of course without you I'd be back to eating 5 guys every few days...boy I miss that).
Since I was trying to get back on track, and cross the 50K threshold I kept things reasonably sensible today. Egg and cheese sandwich at breakfast (300 calories), I was planning an early dinner so lunch became some odds and ends (a slice of turkey, a slice of cheese, some peanut butter) rather than an actual meal (250 calories). Dinner was salmon, noodles and green beans (900 calories). Then in the evening I had an english muffin with some butter as a snack (100 calories).
In the morning I ran 3.25 miles in 45 minutes (calling it 400 calories).

The turkey, cheese, and peanut butter weren't all in one sandwich, were they? Cause if so, that's a little gross.

Good job!
Fortunately no, they were not all mixed together. Went to the supermarket and the deli lady insisted I try the turkey and cheese that I bought. The peanut butter was later in the afternoon and was just the classic Joey "Peanut Butter Finger."
