Talking about the folks who can mess up a diet. I got a call from my mother this afternoon asking me if I wanted to go out to dinner. We went out to Angelo's, an Italian restaurant I've been going to since I was a little kid. I have one meal I get there most trips, and it can be calorie intensive. I got smaller portions than I might have before the diet started but it still turned into a lot of calories. On the other hand, it was nice to get out of the house and to spend some time with family. If I scored a few less points today than others, I mostly don't mind.
Food today: breakfast sandwich (300 calories), turkey sandwich (500 calories), snacks were a package of diced pears, a little bit of peanut butter, and some milk at various points of the day (150 calories). Dinner was spaghetti with meatballs and french fries (it's a weird combo, but for some reason at Angelo's it works). As it was a restaurant it's hard to judge the calories specifically, but I'm guessing the total was around 1300 calories.
