A new month, and the 40K weigh in. It's been a crazy first month but so far the diet seems to be working. So onto the weigh-in first.
Weigh-in result: 247.0 lbs.
The second 20,000 points saw a weight loss of 5.2 lbs. Not as impressive as the 12.8 lbs lost in the first 20K, but we all understood that those were the easy weight that comes off at the start of a new diet. The important thing is that I'm still on track.
The only major event for today was a morning run in Brockton. I was supposed to have some running buddies, but they had to bail out. What I was proud of, was that even running by myself I was able to push and avoid turning it into just a longer walk. I ended up covering 3.5 miles in about 45 minutes (I'm calling it about 400 calories of exercise).
Food today: breakfast sandwich and milk (300 calories), peanut butter sandwich and milk for lunch (700 calories), salmon, noodles and green beans for dinner (900 calories).
